Good Points

Cheap - ok if you never have to contact Customer Services or make a claim!


Bad Points

Budge Home Insurance Customer Services - incompetent, patronising, unhelpful. In fact, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get any service out of them.


General Comments

Tried to make some changes to my Budget Home Insurance in March 2008. Had to phone Budget's South African call centre 5 times and in the end gave up in desperation. Each operative contradicted the last, calls back were promised and never made, the change I'd requested to my insurance was charged for but never appeared on my new insurance documents. Just an awful experience. Will NEVER go with any Budget insurance again - car or home.
