It fits in your pocket easily.
Poor battery life.
Over sensitive keys.
Frustrating text input.
Mind of it's own.
I had had a Samsung before and really liked it, then saw this when contract was up for renewal when it first came out. Now wish I had stock with my W800i which is far superior.
The U600 is the worst phone I have ever had in over 10 years of ownership, and my 1st one didn't even have a screen on it. Samsung seem to have gone more for form than function, with all the individual parts of it programmed by different people with no consultation as to what buttons shall always do what.
The soft keys are a joke. Touch one by accident and you will end up calling someone, ending the call you are on, or cancel the text message that you have spent an hour trying to compose (because the text system is so bad).
As mentioned, texting is a chore. It is easier to not use predictive text. When you want to change a predictive word, depending on where on the screen you currently are, sometimes you have to press up, others down. And should you glance the soft key in the process, you have had it.
Sadly, I am tied into an 18 month contract on this phone so stuck with it for another 9 months. Never have I wanted a new phone so much. Had I not given away all my old phones, I would get one of them unlocked to accept my SIM card, even one without the neccesaties such as Bluetooth.
