Good Points

A beautiful & immaculate ship. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, couldn't fault any of the service. We were advised this was one of the best ships on the Nile and have to agree. A number of the others look tatty and dated, but not the Sunray. The food was good and unlike almost all the other boats, you can drink the water provided (even there ice is frozen bottled water).


Bad Points

It lacked entertainment at night but this wasn't really a problem for us as after a days sight seeing (which usually involves a very early start) your not in the mood to party and just want a quiet drink at the bar or on the top deck. The only down side was that we had a top deck cabin and you did get noise from people on the top deck. If you get the choice ask for a mid deck cabin or upgrade to a suite (these really were beautiful and much larger than the standard cabins, although there are only four of them).


General Comments

If you book this ship you wont' be disappointed. Although you can get cheap bargains on other ships you definitely get what you pay for in Egypt. After seeing the others ships I would be extremely reluctant to cruise the Nile with anyone else. Hope to return in 2008/9 (we went in 2006).
