There aren't any good points if you are looking for a reasonable exchange for your hard earned money from Travelex.
Even Marks & Spencer offer better rates than Travelex, with no commission.
Travelex undoubtedly had the worst exchange rates outside the UK. I visited their bureaus on the high street in Italy and at the airport , both quoted me the ridiculous rates, I felt even their staff were embarrassed when quoting .
When I complained upon my return to the UK to their HO, the excuses given were as if they were communicating with a 2 year old. They justified that it was completely fair to give me 53 Euros for £50, a rate of about 1.06.
Other bureaus in Italy were quoting 1.22 at least, with no commission and some hotels offering 1.28 .
I found these excuses very offensive and will not be shopping at Travelex again.
