Freephone number for customer service. Good faults team.
Hold time, IVR system, overseas call centres, poor customer service.
I ordered BT Broadband at around 1 o'clock PM. I forgot to ask when the line would be active so called back (now as an existing customer) to find out when it would be. After 1 hour on hold and transfers from one dept to the next, I decided to cancel my order. I managed to do this by 6PM that evening. Why do we in Britain accept this kind of service? This company should not be in business. It is our market leader yet they can't even provide enough resource to handle customer calls. As a result of this experience, I am pulling my business account from BT as well as my home phone line.
