drivers car so positive on steeringm lots of fun to drive


Bad Points

even with new hood water still gets in


General Comments

Wiring can be tricky, when I accelerate the hand brake light comes on and the air bag is on all the time!

    Strange! There's no electric connection between the handbrake and the throttle..only very late B's got 'fly by wire' throttle..yours is a good ole cable.. most likely worn pads as the handbrake warning light doubles as a pad sensor light. Your new hood needs adjusting. If its fitted properly then there are no leaks and no wind noise around the windows. Did you have the 6 rubbers along the top of the windscreen seal and above the doors changed at the same time? They wear out and should be changed with the new hood.
