The gym instructors are helpful and pleasant without being false and over the top.
The reception staff are generally unhelpful. Dismiss any concerns you may have and say that you just have to put up with it. The cleaners in the changing rooms watch TV rather than cleaning and are soon to check your locker to swipe the '£1 before you are even dry from the shower.
I feel that the Sheffield Esporta really need to live up to their own sales pitch saying that the overpriced monthly fee is due to the exceptional service that you receive!
I have cancelled my membership due to the overpriced monthly price on the 2nd March and have received a letter to say that I will have to pay an additional month as it wasn't canceled prior to the end of February; this all being before the March payment has been collected by direct debit. 4 months cancellation has to be a joke!
I will continue to utilise the gym unitl my membership runs out, however I have no problem in ruining it's reputaion to anyone that will listen until in runs out.
