Phil Pugh.'s review of Fuji Finepix 4900

“I have owned a Fuji 4900z for a year now and it goes...”

★★★★★

written by Phil Pugh. on 18/10/2001

Good Points
Similarity of controls to those of 35mm film cameras.
Good colour reproduction.
Excellent zoom lens - gives great flexibility.

Bad Points
Poor battery life when using flash - a second battery is a must for this camera.
Expensive wide angle lens adapter/convertor.

General Comments
I have owned a Fuji 4900z for a year now and it goes nearly everywhere with me. The plus point about being like a 35mm camera can also be seen as a short fall - it doesn't fit in my shirt pocket - but the quality of the image it produces makes up for that.
