Difficult to use in Europe, HSBC closed my account despite the fact I had £5 on the account!!


General Comments

One day I was coming back from Heathrow and we had to put some petrol. Unluckily ,I left my wallet at home and HSBC card was the only I had with me. How surprised and ashamed was i when I tired to pay £20 and the card was declined. My wife saved the day and paid the bill. Immediately after arrival i contacted HSBC and was informed that my after review of my account they decided to cancel my account. Strange as I used it often and I always paid all back.
Also, when travelling in Europe I could never pay more than £150 in one go!!!
