Good Points

I like the shape, the utter reliability, nice engine note in a tall gear going slow. But of course it has to be the built in panniers. Have been on many a camping trip, and guess who brings back the groceries! Yet my mates call it the Queen Mary. Terrible thing envy! Just fill it with fuel and go.

Bad Points

I am a little tall for the foot peg position, but have got used to it.
Would like an extra gear for motorways, and a larger fuel tank.

General Comments

Overall I rate this motorcycle very highly indeed. It will perform if asked to and keeps the rider isolated from rutted road surfaces. It handles far better with Metzler Marathon tyres as against the old Dunlops that came with it and gives good fuel economy if you don't thrash it. I agree about the hassle of removing the plastic bodywork, however, once done it gives you confidence to explore. I think this bike is an engineering marvel and look forward to many a happy years riding it.
