Good Points

Sales men were not as pushy as I was expecting.


Bad Points

Was lead to believe that this company had a large selection of cars in stock in a flashy show room.


General Comments

When I arrived I was very disappointed! A grotty looking car lot with around 40 cars in stock, only had 1 car for me to look at that was in the list of cars I was interested inspite being told 4 hours earlier over the phone that they had quite a few. Turns out all calls are generated through a call centre by people who have no knowledge of available cars or even costs and apr rates. This came to light when I arrived at Manchester car finance and was given completely different figures to the ones I had been ''guaranteed'' over the phone. Sales men weren't that pushy to be honest but never the less ended up with a 3 door Renault Megane 54 plate which wasn't what I had originally wanted. Repayments are £187.00 per month which I suppose isn't too bad considering I have really bad credit and my apr is at around 25%. Also talked them into giving me £350 cash back and no deposit. My advise to anybody looking at finance is to shop around and take a friend with you who will keep you focused! I nearly got lead astray and was tempted to buy a convertible that was out of my price range and not at all practical with my children, thankfully my friend made me realise this wasn't such a good idea and stopped me from making a huge mistake. You should also set yourself a monthly limit for repayments and stick to it. I would also advise that you decide on what car you want and make sure that is the car you leave with, if at any point your unsure about anything don't sign any paper work, walk away, think it through and go back once your 100% certain about your desicion.
