Free - unless you bank too many cheques
Takes too long to clear funds and if you post cheque and you lose them you have to contact all your Customers to get replacements. If you go over your limit they charge either £32 or £30 top bounce or pay a cheque or direct debit. But they just take the money with No details
We now always bank our cheque at the cash machine.
I think they have recently deleted the option to get Customer services to call you free and you have to now call 0845 or 0870 numbers.
Tip. The international number to call ABBEY - its cheaper
