Good Points

Easy to contact, had a personal direct number to speak to my claims handler. Very helpful friendly, good price.


General Comments

I took out Barclays contents and buildings insurance, it was the cheapest at the time and i received £125 cashback via cashback site. I have never made a claim until now, when my garage doors were destroyed during high winds. I made the call to Barclays and they said they would send a subcontracted assessor from Asprea around. When it turned out that it was going to take asprea 10 days to arrange to send someone out, I contacted Barclays and explained that this was unacceptable, they were very helpful. I was able to fax a quote and a report through from a local supplier and they agreed to release the funds.
