Strong midrange power and good top end when you want it. Makes riding legally easy, with comfort with a pillion, generally good handling and softish ride helps on poor roads. Composed when you nail it. Good finish and great looks.
Bad Points
Front end a little vague. Standard MEZ4s poor. Can be difficult to start from cold. Screen too low. Watch for gusty side winds. Seat foam gets hard after an hours riding.
General Comments
After owing 3 GSXR'S. I first was disappointed with the fazer but 3 years on I wouldn't swap it for numb wrists backache and leaving my wife at home. For anyone new to fazer 1000 try one you wont regret it ,it makes perfect sense for road riding, good fun without risking your licence. The finish is tons better than Suzuki or Kawasaki 125BHP 160MPH is that not enough for the road? Fit a zero gravity D/B screen, Pirelli Diablo Corsa's make a big improvement to a great bike already.
