General Comments

Could someone please answer this? When i had a bank account with clydesdale bank a few years back after an argument with them i said for them to close the account. Now i was told by the bank that as long as i had due debt they could not close the account until the debt was paid IN FULL as for them to close the account before the debt was cleared they would be cancelling the due debt!!!!!!!!! in other words if YOU cant close an account with a card or bank or the debt is cleared then why is the egg company think it can do just that WITHOUT CLEARING THE DUE DEBT?????????? iT IS TOTAL HYPOCRISY AND ITS ABOUT TIME THE FSA GOT INVOLVED AND TOLD THE CITI BANK TO GET ITS ACT TOGETHER AND START OPERATING WITHIN EU LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
