Quiet(er than springers!) Good actual rifle length, BB's or Pellets!
Very plasticy-flimsy, poor scope.
The Remington Model 77 Airmaster is the top of the line multi-pump air rifle that Remington offers. This is a step up from the Remington 760 multi-pump air rifle.
There is much more weight to this rifle than the 760, evident in some of the actual metal parts-instead of plastic.
This rifle feels great on the shoulder and has no recoil and little noise.
The user is also capable of using pellets or BB's in this rifle, with a built in BB reservoir in the stock.
The cocking mechanism is simple and comes with a type of multi shot magazine for pellets only.
This is actually a pretty powerful air rifle, delivering speeds above 700 feet per second with pellets!
powerful enough to dispatch most pests.
My biggest problem is with the scope, mount and mounting rail.
The scope is of low quality(4X20 power) and should be upgraded immediately for those who wish to use this for anything over 10 yards. Upgrade to a 3X9 power scope. But, you'll still have to contend with the weak scope mount rails built into the receiver.
For the money, you will not find a better buy on a pellet rifle. You can spend the extra $30 and buy a Crossman or a Powerline springer, but springers take alot of time and effort to hone in or "season" before they become deadly accurate.
I owned a Remington airmaster 77 for years until it was stolen from me. I DO miss it and can recommend it!
