None whatsoever in my experience.


Bad Points

Unhelpful customer service. In my opinion defective and counterfeit items. As far as I am aware items missing from shipment without refund or replacement in my experience. Shill bidding. In my opinion unhelpful item listings. Fees I wasn't aware of for transaction, shipping, and refunding.


General Comments

Regretfully, I bought a number of jewelry items from Bidz.com over a one-month period, and here is what I received in return: one shipment missing four out of sixteen items, one shipment missing two out of six items, as far as I am concerned my Visa card was duplicate charged on two separate occasions to the tune of around $5,000, and I was shipped a brooch with a stone obviously missing, which Bidz as far as I am aware will not yet exchange or repair. If you want to shop for jewelry online, stick with good ol' eBay or even a retailer like Zales. I Do NOT recommend bidz.com your money due to my experiences.

    Since writing my review, as far as I am aware Bidz.com has canceled my account without completing their "investigation" on the six missing items that I paid for. Thank heavens that the folks at Visa stood behind me as a customer, and issued a credit to my account for the missing merchandise. Who knows when or if I would have received an actual refund for the approximately $2,000 of missing jewelry?

    Moreover, we would like to take the time to apologize once again for any inconveniences.

    Your account has been investigated. A claim was filed with FedEx for the missing items. FedEx denied the claim as they state that there was no sign of mishandling of the package. Since FedEx denied the claim, we were unable to issue a refund.

    We do not repair or replace items. If an item is missing, a claim needs to be filed. If an item is damaged, the item needs to be returned for a refund.

    Regarding the double charged payments, when a payment is processed no other payment can be done for the same items. The only way this may occur is if a payment does not post immediately and another payment is then submitted for a second time by the customer. This can happen when a payment from pay pal does not post immediately.

    It is very unfortunate to hear that our customer service department did not meet your needs. We try our best to assist our customers. In example, we believe to have fulfilled your request of communicating with you only via email, because you wanted to keep record of all conversations. We also contacted you to provide you with information regarding your inquiries.

    An account will be terminated immediately if a credit card chargeback is filed. Bidz, in good faith, makes every effort to bring resolution to disputes that may arise.
