Good Points
Excellent service and good quality food, well presented, always hot.

Very helpful and obliging staff, bar staff were prompt efficient friendly more than capable of pouring a good pint, and knowledgeable about single malts. Neither did we get muttering about only purchasing non-alcoholic drinks when we were all intending to drive, something we have experienced elsewhere. Parking is also good.

General Comments
We cannot imagine where the previous reviewer got the impression about the cook's ability we have eaten here twice since November 2007 and each time the food including the fish has been faultless.



The toilets are some of the very best, and can be used with confidence. We have visited other places with high food ratings whose toilets are (to put it gracefully) are a disgrace.
