Confident Salesman who knew his stuff.
Slightly pushy for the deal.
I went looking a for a car at the AC on Alison street after having a look round. The dealer took me on a test drive in the model I was looking for and I was liking the car - he then tried to sell me the demo model I had just been driving, which would have been okay if it had not been for the age (a year old) and the price (1k more than I had seen for a pre-reg new). I declined politely, and he let me leave without too much fuss. I went to the AC in Paisley to find the exact colour and model I wanted, for 1500 less than I had seen, with a full tank of petrol and other extras thrown in for nothing. The salesman was going on about his "I'm-not-a-salesman" patter that grates after a while, but he sensed I was pleased and interested. 25 minutes later, it was my car, and he seemed very genuine, commenting that he "Had sold loads recently". I think he was meaning the price, but I got the gist that they wanted rid of them. Bad then Good.
