Nice looking phone
Large clear screen
Camera takes good pictures outside
Feature packed, music player sounds good with headset
Bad Points
Temperamental
Plasticky feel, dust under screen, prob due to changeable covers
Camera poor in low light, flash not great help
Battery life not fantastic, though think that's a tradeoff due to screen size
Pop-port headset connection wears out quickly
General Comments
Chose this phone as an upgrade, due to a love of Nokias and the number of features this phone had. The slide is nice, and the phone looks good; changeable covers are useful as I am prone to dropping my phone. The music player sounds good with the supplied headset, damn the pop-port connection though as it gets worn out so easily! Got to say this is the most love-hate relationship I've ever had with a Nokia!
From new this phone was in the habit of randomly restarting itself; it was returned to Vodafone 4 times until the problem was finally cured, and I knew someone else who had the same problem with their 6280. However to be fair, apart from that fault the phone was reliable, and stood up to a lot of abuse, being dropped a number of times over the 16 months I owned it. It now works perfectly, as Vodafone finally got their act together, decided what was wrong and had it fixed.
Battery life I found was only a few days, but this is probably largely due to the big, clear display, and worth the tradeoff in my opinion. If you manage to get one that isn't faulty, this is a great good, maybe great phone, but a lot of people seem to have had major problems, as well as the more minor niggles such as the fault I had.
