Good Points
Very efficient -- boiled a pan of water about as fast as a cheap kettle would have.
Decent size for larger pans.
Bad Points
The fan for it is fairly loud, and it beeps a fair bit.
General Comments
After checking that a magnet would stick to the bottom of my pans (required for the induction to work), I decided to buy this because I was told it was more efficient than a normal plug-in hob, and it certainly looks nicer than one!
I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient this actually is -- it boiled a saucepan of water about as fast as a cheap kettle would, on full power. The fan's a little loud but no louder than, say, an extractor fan, and overall I'm very impressed with it.
