Great Selection of INDEPENDENT Music.
Customer Service can take up to and over three weeks to respond to my email. As far as I am aware there is no telephone-based customer service.
This is a fantastic site for fans of music supplied by INDEPENDENT labels. For the hard of reading, that means NO artists from major labels. You will NOT find Oasis, Brittany Spears, Destinys Child, Iron Maiden, Metallica or anything like that on EMusic.
For £9 per month, you get 30 DRM-free MP3 downloads. There are other plans where you can increase your monthly download allowance if you're prepared to part with a little more cash.
Great value by my book. I've been using the site for around three months now, and have discovered a number of new artists I'd never come across before. There's also a great community of users behind the site, who you can go to for advice on a number of difference message boards.
All in all, a site for music connoisseurs rather than fans of the latest mainstream boy/girl band.
