food, low price, pleasant flight crew.
departed CDG about 40 minutes late, but this could have been the fault of the airport staff. Only a couple of drinks runs on 9.5 hour flight
Flew economy Manchester - CDG - Bangalore and return Bombay - CDG-MAN.
On arriving at Manchester I was checked in very quickly, flight left on time, had breakfast and a drink. No problems. Arrival at CDG was ok, the airport was quite chaotic, but I found it quite well signposted and only had to go from terminal 2f to 2e.
Flight to BLR departed about 40 mins late and only 2 drinks runs on the flight in 9.5 hours (you could buzz for service though). Other than this the flight was fine, leg room was better than I expected but was getting a bit uncomfortable after 7.5 to 8 hours. Flight staff seemed friendly & professional. IFE was quite good and varied, food & wine ok too.
return from BOM left on time, I think I slept for about 6 hours of the flight so can't comment too much on the staff service.
Considering this was my first ever long-haul flight, overall much better than I expected and I would use Air France again. In fact I am using them to go to India again March 08, they definitely seem to be the cheapest.
