Good Points

Price - easily available at under £200
5.2MegaPixel CCD (only uses 5MegaPixels at best image quality)
3x optical zoom
32MB Internal memory + SD card slot
USB2 and (optional) docking station for transfer of images
Rotate sensor correctly orientates pictures taken in portrait mode
Optical viewfinder (with zoom) and LCD screen
Movie mode with sound
PAL or NTSC (switchable by user menu) TV out
3V input for external PSU
AA Battery facility
The screen can be turned off to save battery life
Lightweight
Can zoom in on stored image to confirm quality

Bad Points

Really naff lens cap - like an old SLR type that you physically have to remove - if you don't it hangs the system 'till you take it off and switch on again
A bit thicker than I would like
No raw image, only JPG's
Rotation sensor does not operate in movie mode
zoom/wide angle controls disabled in move mode - you need to set them before you start recording
Image quality in movie mode - worse than RealPlayer or VHS in long play
Taking a series of pictures in quick succession can lead to a significant delay whilst the camera processes them
Ni NiMh battery/charger NOT included (Alkaline AA batteries have V. poor life and are NOT supported by Kodak)
Feels "plasticky"

General Comments

The Kodak Easyshare DX4530 is a simple to operate digital camera with intuitave controls.
There are dedicated buttons for "Share", "Menu" and "Delete".
Intuitave and easy to use with AF system that can focus accurately on off-centre subjects (if wanted).
User choses whether to save images on internal 32MB memory or SD card (I'm using a 256MB card), you can move images between card and camera memory.

The bottom line - I'm happy with this camera and am buying the dedicated print station to go with it
