Brilliant sotry lines with exelent morals which can really help children tin the future.
The illustrations were AMAZING and really set the scene for the book.
Julia's imagination is well and truly excellent, her characters were fun and the rhymes made the story flow easily.
It was very enjoyable.
Bad Points
NOT LONG ENOUGH!!! We would have been delighted if the book had never ended. But luckily a sequel is now available. (The Gurffalo's Child)
There aren't really any bad points, our opinions and comments are all positive. But we cannot seem to find any contact details to contact the author, if anybody has been able to acquire them please post on this page!
General Comments
Me and my chum seriously enjoyed Julia donaldson's 'The Gruffalo'along with many other of her books which are well and truly the work of a genius. We often find ourselves sitting in Waterstones of a Saturday afternoon read and re-reading her books over and over. We even purchased 'The Gurffalo Activity Book' and had lots of fun with the stickers, and we plan in the near future to purchase some of the books themselves.
We really enjoy Julia and Axel's creations of genius. So much we impatiently await future projects form the brilliant twosome.
The Gurffalo is AMAZING as are all other books created by both author and artist alike.
Please if anyone knows of a way to get in touch to praise the duo, then do share the details by adding comment on my review!
