Slow speeds in the evening (but is this Supanets fault?)
I've been with Supanet for over 7 to 8 years and have had no problems. I live in the country and therefore a long distance away from the exchange. I was on dial-up for years and happy to even have this access, then Suapnet phoned me offering a free modem and Broadband at no extra cost to what I was paying for dial-up, so took up the offer. I now have just under a 1MB and this is far superior to dial-up as afterall I do live in the countryside. However, come 6pm onwards in the evening, the speed slows down to a point where it becomes almost impossible to watch streaming YouTube clips or to play online gaming. I'm always able to connect and in my opinion, I can't really fault them in any way apart from slow speeds in the evening which is no big deal to me, as such, as I base this on how far away I live from the exchange and as a result, I'm happy to even get any sort of decent speed that's not dial up.
