Barclays has gone down hill.Live in a strong Welsh community and unable to make an appointment with a welsh speaker to discuss and open new accounts. Would have to wait over a week to see a so called Branch Manager (English Speaker) who is not based out our Branch and appointments after 3.15pm not available. Appointment at lunchtime was not really convenient either as this manager would be at lunch !!!Do they want custom? We have banked with Barclays for 28years. Never mind went to Nat West saw a Welsh Speaking member of staff who sorted two new accounts out within 20 mins. They had 5 Welsh speakers at the Branch it was lovely to be able to speak in my mother tongue. Will be transferring our five accounts from Barclays to Nat West in the near future. Shame on you Barclays for not providing enough Welsh speaking staff (some Branches do not have any) at your Branches.You are going to lose many young peoples accounts in some areas due to this.
