Good Points

1. The storyline was really well planned
2. The story related to and touched on some real life events.
3. The main character was well described.

Bad Points

I didn't think the ending was as good as the rest of the book. I won't say any more because it will give some things away!

General Comments

This book is mainly about family and friendship. It is about a boy called Bud who's mother has died, and who's father is alive, but Bud doesn't know where his father is. Bud lives in a carehome, but decides to run off in search of his father. His only clue is a flyer for a band, which he found in his mothers private drawer after she died, and on which the band leader has a surname incredibly like Bud's. Bud has lots of mini adventures, but the question is: Does Bud find his father in the end, or does he find the next best thing?
