Very economical and cheap to run, and with its small size, can fit into small parking spaces and squeeze through small gaps whereas a big 4x4 cannot. The engine is easy to maintain and returns a good mpg.
We find it tends to wheel spin rather easy and its even worse in the wet. The engine is only 1.0L but the 155x70 r13 tyres recommended by the manufacturer just don't give sufficient grip.
Overall the Micra is a great car. It has a struggle keeping up with the big boys but, as long as its serviced regularly then it will never let you down. We have had only had 2 times where ours wouldn't start, and I believe it was down to dirty fuel. The Micra is very reliable and is ideal for a first car. The one problem I have is that I'm 5ft 11 and my seat won't go back far enough for me to be completely comfortable, so long journeys can be a bit of a discomfort. But hey I love my Micra.
