Good Points

Knowing that the food is reared on site/locally sourced.


Bad Points

Cost of the food; loads of changes made in the menu over the past couple of years (& we don't think for the better).


General Comments

My wife & I moved away from the area around 18 months ago. We used to eat there regularly, often with friends & often for business. We recently travelled back to the area to see friends & decided that the 1 place we wanted to return to was The Fishermans. Sadly, lots has changed. The old charm there, the days when your coffee was served with a chocolate, pre-the "new" menu, etc...has disappeared. Our local friends told us afterwards that they don't go to eat there anymore, but didn't want to spoil our memory of it, so honoured our request to go. It's a real shame. Nice food still, but too fancy & way too pricey..& "the magic" for whatever reason has gone..sorry...
