General Comments
The styling of the Mercedes 230 SLK Kompressor is second to none. If you want a car that garners looks from others, this is the one. It rides suprisingly smooth for having a sport suspension, and corners flat - even at high speeds. A true joy to drive. On the negative side, I am disgusted with the powder-coated finish of the interior, which flakes off with even the most casual bump or rub. These parts should have been molded in the color choice rather than coated so poorly. The other negative, although minor, is that the front brakes throw so much dust that the wheels are constantly filthy - requiring cleaning every 3 days or so.
