Good Points

A few of the people I spoke to were polite.


Bad Points

Most of the staff were incredibly rude. I had a hole in my ceiling because of a fire, but Axa said they wouldn't send anyone out to fix it until the loss adjuster visited my home, which he couldn't do for two days! We were told if we left the the house in the unsecured state our insurance would be void, I was told that I was expected to stay in the house (with no electricity - wiring was damaged in the fire) until the loss assessor could get there.


General Comments

Very poor service. I spoke to 10 different people at AXA Home Insurance and tried, being reasonable, angry and finally pleading, before I got any help at all. I was told if I expected emergency help then I should have paid more money each month to get a special emergency policy that would guarantee they would secure my house/check if it was safe, etc within 24-hours.
