The AA are a disgrace and an absolute rip off! I had paid for AA breakdown cover for about 4 years before calling on their service: when my only surviving ignition key snapped off in the passenger door. All they offered to do was to call out a locksmith who would subsequently charge me £150! And so I was left stranded and fuming on a freezing cold Saturday evening with three young children in the back - what had I been paying them for? They take our money on the understanding that they will get our vehicle started again if it breaks down - particularly in a dangerous/ stressful situation. They failed us utterly and I would never trust them again...
