General Comments

I took out a loan with Everyday Loans last year.
I dont know why i was already in a bad situation with debt and in my stupid head space then id decided that by taking the loan i could pay of some of the debt and make a dent in others..

Like i say i was in a bad headpsace then and i didnt really make a dent in anything then.. Thanks fully im more with it now, and i have started tackling stuff including this loan from these people.

One of my payments was late (by about 8 days) someone knocked on my door asking me to pay!! How rude (8 days!!)
So i wrote and sent a cheque, and the same the month after, however i began to realise that this loan was making me fall behind with my other creditors, so i looked into the agreement and realised i was paying about 50 quid a month in ppi so i asked for tht to be removed (the only letter i got back was asking for a statement of affairs)

Sent them another letter asking them to be a little lenient whilst i got the money together to pay them- they basically wrote back saying no.

decided to sack it- ive stopped paying them and have no intention to restart- taking this loan out with them caused me to fall behind in everything else so my credit file is now even worse so i intend to never acknowledge the debt again and let it go to statue barred.

This is a poor company who target people who have already got financial problems and just make it worse for them for there own financial gain.

I regret ever answering my phone to them.

even though you feel hard done by ,the worst thing you can do is just stop paying the company as its a legal agreement you signed and just to stop paying a creditor for money that you have borrowed is fraud .
Its like being caught pinching a pack of crisps as you thoght the price tag was too high and refusing to pay them for it .
If you knew that was going to be a problem and could not afford to pay this company why take out the loan the place plus all loans or credit agreements have a cancellation period .
best thing to do is to speak to company and try work out an arrangement or this loan could end up costing you a lot more .

I disagree with this review because... encouraging people to miss payments on agreements because its to expensive could lead to massive problems in people's future. especially when all credit agreements have cancellation periods on them and everyone has free will wheather to take loans out or not .
if someone knows something is to expensive and cannot afford payments on credit should not take loan in first place .

If you are late with a payment and do not contact the company what do you expect? it is a subprime company. Your attitude in "deciding to sack it off" is exactly why companies such as Everyday loans have higher APRs. You really need to face your debt like a good honest human being.
