General Comments

I ordered some shoes online to wear to a wedding overseas, and paid extra for postage as I was going abroad the followign week. Four days after ordering it, still no sign, and after 20 minutes on the phone, nobody could find record of my order. I literally spoke to 10 people (including team managers who never called me back as promised) with no results, and what was most frustrating was that nobody could tell me that I wasn't going to be charged at a later time. Apparently orders take "up to a week or more" - (?) - to show up in their system. Where the hell does all the information go until then??? So they couldn't even cancel my order because they had no record. And they didn't know if it would show up next week or not. The staff all had completely different information about how the system worked and nobody seemed to know anything! One woman kept trying to sign me up for an account, and wouldn't actually listen to me, she was so keen on trying to follow her script!
Anyway, in the end a manager had to take my details and hope to try and "catch" the order in the system before it went out. I reckon I'll get charged. I told them it's ridiculous that they don't have information on the website explaining that orders take up to a week to show before they are even looked at. This was my first order with La Redoute, and it will be my last.
