I am no expert, but if you wake up one day and decide to get a bike, get one of these. Your life will be enhanced. I havent had a bike for 25 or so years, a chopper, then a racer. I purchased a mint specialized hardrock sport 07 a few weeks ago for GBP75, from a family member, and i am hooked. It is light, strong, and comfortable and reaches some speed when travelling downhill and even on flat roads. Its a beast ! I have found going up steep hills hard work, but this probably has more to do with my fitness than the bike. I have been riding about 3 hours per day since i got the bike and will be soon giving it a workout around the penmachno and marin trails in snowdonia. If i come off, i wont incur massive internal damage and crushed bones if the bike lands on me.... Unlike a chopper. This bike is the biz !
