Good Points

The suspense creates a really good atmosphere and the thrill of the fights and misdeeds is tremendous. I love how Trudi portrays all the characters especially Sonea as a humble person with a wild personality. I also like how she portrays Akkarin as a Powerful magician with a soft centre.

Bad Points

Nothing.

General Comments

I really liked this trilogy. I just couldn't put it down. The idea of a normal girl becoming a high ranked magician really makes you think. It never lacks imagination, it never lacks action and it surely doesn't lack love, loss and luck. The characters are so realistic, and you can imagine the scenes happening right in front of you. It really does possess all the elements for a good fantasy book. I would recommend this book to everyone, though maybe more for women than males.
