General Comments
This Salter kitchen scale is a lovely-looking piece of machinery, however, as it does not come with it's own measuring bowl, when you are weighing loose ingredients such as pasta, flour or sugar it is sometimes hard to get an accurate weight as if you're weighing such ingredients you need to have a very lightweight dish in which to weigh them. Our usual mixing bowls are far too heavy resulting in a problem where when you place the bowl onto the scale and hit zero, the scale will sometimes continue to fluctuate for ages. On the whole we've had few problems, however and it has been more accurate than our previous very cheap Argos scale.
