General Comments

I have visited Bonaparte's on several occassions, from lunch to Saturday evening and most recently on Christmas Day. I have to agree the resturant is indeed a little piece of France landed in Hornchurch.
The staff are always helpful and the owner seems to be always around to welcome and chat to customers, a real rustic charm. I have waited too long on occassions for service, but the food has always been very good...and an occassional drink on the house helps pass the time!
If you were in France there would be no rush, the same applies to Bonaparte's. Finally, the lunchtime deals are brilliant...a la carte food at sandwich prices! you really can afford to be very extravagent with the choice of wine.
