Variety of races, nice looking cars
No damage model, A.I. is no different from other racers - despite what the box claims.
I really enjoy Total Immersion Racing. Nowadays it might be hard to find in retail outlets but it's still around online and for not many of your earth Pounds at all, you really shouldn't pass on this racer. The car modelling is lovely and there's some nice shadowing and reflection effects on them in the game. The handling is less joyful. However, once you get used to it you're away. There's lots of events to work your way through. The only thing that slightly marrs this game is the boring announcer person at the end. "That's it. You've won the race !" he says...in a very unconvincing 'generically excited' fashion. But this is hardly a reason not to get this game. No silly nitrous boost, no mods, no police chases, just good old-fashioned honest racing. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Well, apart from the claims about the A.I.
