Good Points

Compact, pocketable, brilliant picture quality, virtually no shutter delay, great at close-ups, good in poor light. Has the advantage of a viewfinder as well as an LCD screen.


Bad Points

If you want a bigger LCD screen, buy the Ixus 75, which has no viewfinder. Menus could be more user-friendly.


General Comments

I love the Canon Ixus 70 camera. It produces amazing quality from its tiny size and 7.1MP is as much as any compact-user will reasonably need. It has a massive number of features, many of which I will never use, and I suppose my only complaint is that the menu system is not as instinctive as I would have liked. But I've got used to it. Recommended to anyone, and it's going for a bargain price right now at around £120.
