Good Points

We paid just over $3,300 US Dollars for a craftmatic queen bed. It has separate adjustable motors to move it up and down, the massage feature, tempurpedic top as well as separate inflatable air bladder that can we could adjust to the appropriate softness on each side of the bed. Everything works ok except the air bladder part.


Bad Points

Air bladder leaked. After spending over $3,300 USD, less than 2 weeks after it was delivered it was discovered that one side went flat. Over the next 3 years we've had 8 replacement bladders sent to us, none of which has fixed the problem. The pump is working fine, we cannot figure out if it is the mattress at fault, or some valve, or the bladders wear our after 2 weeks or what. The company that sold us the bed is not helpful, they will not send someone out here to FIX the bed, nor will they refund our money. They claim our warranty has "expired" with them and that our only recourse is to go directly to Craftmatic to fix their bed. Our last call for customer service was 12 December 2007 and to date they have not delivered another air bladder which may or probably won't fix the problem. We are considering going to small claims court to get our money back + damages for back pain suffered while being unable to get a good night's sleep.


General Comments

I don't recommend buying from this company. The product is flawed. It doesn't work "as advertised". Not only is the product broken, the company hasn't honored its warranty nor have they anything to fix the problem.

I would like them to pay me back $3,300 for the bed they CLAIM I'm supposed to sleep better on, because they've effectively robbed me of 3 years of 1/3 of my life that is wasted on tossing and turning and the other 2/3 with back pain and grumpiness from lack of sleep.
