Bad Points

indoor even with 3x100w light bulbs picture is very grainy and if you are trying to film after the sun has set it is very very grainy,
mpeg 2 compression, electronic stabilizer


General Comments

Outdoor videos quite good quality, has something called low shtr which basically raises fps to if I remember correctly 125 fps but image quality suffers, night shot surprisingly powerful. Go for the dcr-sr290/300, dcr-sr290 is the more improved version of the Sony dcr-sr190.
