Good Points

Image quality, speed, sensitivity.


Bad Points

None really ...the mic on the camera is not very sensitive.
Some controls a bit small....fine for me, but not for the ham-fisted. Battery life is about half a day if you play with the camera ... this is better than expected but you will need a set of spare AA's.


General Comments

Bought this camera in August from internetcamerasdirect.
My wife has a Contax 167MT and the photo's from the Fuji are as good as any we have seen from there. If you have been waiting for digital cameras to get as good (better?) than 35mm then the 4700 does it. I bought mine with a 128meg card and this allows 75 images at max resolution with no compression. So far I have only used internetcamerasdirect's printing service .... but on 5 x 7 the quality is jaw dropping.
Now this camera is < £400 I would buy it over any other camera ... why spend £600 when the money saved will buy a 10 megapixel camera in a few years?
