Immediate phone response, Well informed and knowledgable staff at the end of it. Does exactly what it says on the tin!
None!... Really... None for me!
Phoned with technical questions before taking the plunge and changing from my 9 year old "grinding to a halt" BT Broadband. Exceptional assistance all questions more than adequately answered. Ordered 2 packages, 1 pay as you go 1gb account for a colleague - New connection, 1 Home Max (30gb) account for me - Migration. Got my Mac code from BT over the phone (with all the options and benefits under the sun being chucked at me - Had to laugh really). decided I really didn't have much to loose so took the code. Ordered the 2 packages online Monday 4th Feb 2008 and had confirmation emails virtually immediately, Then got another confirmation email next day giving start date for service and all relevant login / ip's / dns etc. Then had a message on my mobile that same day regarding my colleagues package which had somehow failed to send the chosen package during the online submission as well as then receiving a follow up email with the same info when I had got home that night. Called to confirm that for them and then got the same order conf. for his package. Mine went live today 8th Feb 2008 (as stated in my confirmation email and less than a week from submitting my initial request) instant connection and 31/2 times faster YES THREE AND A HALF TIMES FASTER than the BT account I had seconds earlier tested for speed one last time and then unplugged.
My colleagues account is to go live on 12th which will be connected to the Netgear router I ordered with it and which he received 2 days after my online submission.
Wow, why did I stay where I was for so long for.
I even managed to get first name email addresses for myself and my whole family instead of the usual blah blah blah 2563blah1 @myslowisp.com! (sorry am I sounding glib?)
The user control panel is clean, clear and to be honest, a breath of fresh air. As too the webmail interface. Just have to sift through all my bt emails now and migrate over. WIll most likely have to take the Premium mail account with them for a while at £1.50 per month until I get round to purging right down but hey ho!
Same cost as my BT option 2 (with 8Gb) but now I'm getting 30Gb for the same price and 3x + the speed. 30 day minimum contract is an exceptional guarantee in my book. Right this second though, they'll have to prize it out of my hand!
IF YOU ONLY DO ONE "IT" THING THIS YEAR AND YOU'RE NOT ALREADY WITH THEM, THEN DO YOUR SELF A VERY BIG FAVOUR - IT'S A NO BRAINER!
