Balanced properly, crisp trigger, patterns well, factory hard case
Price, rubber butt pad
I chose this gun after shooting a few other over-unders like the Browning Citori, Blazer, and the Pirazzi MX6. Althought the Pirazzi felt more comfortable, it has 3x the price. The Citori didn't pattern too well, but felt nice.
What I like most about the 682 Gold E was that it felt very nice. The trigger and hand placement felt more natural than most guns I've shot. Also with the low rib you are able to acquire the target quicker and able to realign for the second target quickly.
If I had the money for a Blazer or Pirazzi I would have definately gone with one of those. Since they run a minimum of 2x more, I feel that the 682 was more cost effective for an entry level gun.
