General Comments

Underdog an idea from an old cartoon classic comes to real life. Shoeshine was a police dog after making to many mistakes the police don't want him. Shoeshine is then found and taking to a dog pound but this is where they test evil experiments on dogs. After Shoeshine running about smashing some chemicals by accident which gives the dog powers that turns him into a super hero. He meets Dan Unger played by James Belushi who decides to take Shoeshine home not knowing the dog has superpowers. Jack Unger played by Alex Neuberger becomes attached to the dog after Dan bringing the dog home for his son. Jack then finds out that Shoeshine is not like any other dog he finds that he can speak and fly. Along the way he takes out the bad guys. But the main person looking for Shoeshine is an evil midget called Dr. Simon Barsinister played by Peter Dinklagewith a dopey partner trying to catch Shoeshine and remove his powers.

I can at least one bad person who's acting was not that good and that was Taylor Momsen who played Molly in the movie her acting sounded so fake and no feeling. The rest of the cast did a good job of it.

The movie is good, funny and entertaining Jason Lee does excellent voice work for Shoeshine which fits in perfectly. Which also makes you think i wish my dog was like that. But a total let is that it only lasts for about 1 hour and 15 minutes and thats without the credits pretty short for a movie in my mind.
