Handling, performance, durable, economy and space. Good looks. And reliable and comfortable. A very good all rounder.
Vibrations with engine at idle speed. Heavy use of this car, one will have to change a considerable number of parts.
I have 250,000 Kilometers on the clock, 160 000 miles. Still looks good. I take good care of my Pug 306. Originally the car was a 1.9 aspirated. Did a good 200 000 kilometers, till the gearbox cracked. Till now I had to change a number of times engine mountings and front suspension arms. Roads in Malta are terrible. Changed engine complete with gearbox from another pug turbo. The rear suspension now is noisy now. I used to service photocopiers and delivered a big number of photocopiers with the car as well. The only place that the car showed rust around the roof. Exactly under the weather rubber strips. Door cable harnesses had to be replaced as well. Considering all the hard work carried out with the car think that it fared quite well.
