Good Points

Good selection of dvds,
Excellent customer service
Quick to resolve problems
They put each disc in an individual envelope so you can return them in the same way. You don't have to watch all the discs then return, you can stagger them.


Bad Points

DVD turnover has slowed a little recently, sometimes they hang off a day or 2 to try to give you your top preference.


General Comments

I've been with Amazon for over a year now, but I will be leaving soon because they are being taken over by Lovefilm who are in my experience absolutely appalling.

I have only ever had 1 faulty disc in that time and when I notified them I sent it back and they gave me an extra dvd rental to be used whenever I wanted.

Royal mail lost a disc around xmas time and I was expecting to have to fill in forms etc, slightly worried about getting billed for a disc because I had no proof of posting. I reported it on the site and essentially got (I'm paraphrasing here but you get the idea) "OK, we'll deal with it and we'll dispatch your next disc immediately". It was such a pleasant surprise and a relief.

Generally everything has run extremely smoothly and I'm really happy with them.

If you have a problem you can phone them too, not just email.
If it wasn't for Lovefilm's imminent takeover I would recommend them to anyone.
