Had my laptop since July 2006. Hardly any problems None that I couldn't cope with. Have used several laptops over last 5 years and this one rates highly.
Had system crash after owning it for 5 months. Did restore with Norton Ghost from hidden partition.
Up and working in under 30 minutes. That was over a year ago,and have had no problem with it since.
Wish it had a pcmi slot instead of the express card .
I would recommend Dell laptops. Reliability has been good.Suggest some of the other reviewers expecting too much from a basic laptop.Has served me well.Will definately buy from Dell again.
